Role Description The Data Science Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. The trainer will design and deliver structured data science curricula, including modules on statistics, machine learning, programming, and real-world applications. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons, preparing learning materials and datasets, conducting classroom and lab sessions, mentoring learners on projects, and assessing performance through assignments and evaluations.

The role also involves staying current with industry tools and frameworks,



updating course content accordingly, and collaborating with internal teams to align training outcomes with organizational needs. The trainer is expected to provide transparent guidance, foster an inclusive learning environment, and support participants in developing job-ready skills.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Science Education, with the ability to connect data science concepts to real-world scientific and technical applications.
- Solid understanding of Physics and Mathematics to explain core data science topics such as statistics, probability, linear algebra, and optimization.
- Experience as a Qualified Teacher or trainer, with proven skills in classroom management and learner engagement.
- Competence in Lesson Planning, curriculum design, and structuring progressive learning paths for diverse skill levels.
- Hands-on experience with data science tools and languages (e.g., Python/R, SQL, machine learning libraries) and practical project work.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in clear, accessible language.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, adapt to evolving technologies, and support an inclusive, learner-centered environment.
