We’re Hiring: Data Engineer With handson AI & LLM usage | Chennai
We’re looking for a Data Engineer with 1–3 years of experience, a strong foundation in modern AI/ML data workflows, and expert-level SQL skills to join our team in Chennai.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python and dbt
- Write, analyze, and intensely optimize complex SQL queries for high-throughput analytical, relational, and vector workloads
- Build data ingestion, chunking, and transformation workflows to power AI and LLM systems
- Integrate data from APIs, databases, vector stores, and external unstructured sources
- Manage infrastructure workflows and pipelines leveraging AWS cloud services and Git for version control
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for peak performance and scalability
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Solid expertise in SQL query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
- Solid experience with dbt (data build tool)
for modular data modeling and transformations
- Strong experience in Python and PostgreSQL/SQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Git workflows
- Familiarity with LLM tools, vector databases, and AI/ML data pipelines (e.g., embeddings, RAG data preparation)
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party data integration
- Ability to work onsite from our Chennai office
