At Wishlink, you get to work in a fast-emerging consumer-tech startup and play an integral part in building the creator-enabled eCommerce space. /n /n What would you be doing? /n • Watch Reels and YouTube videos every day & level up on your fashion sense! /n • This is a hands-on engineering role where you will actively build and write production code — not just manage or delegate. /n • Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and near real-time data pipelines. /n • Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark on Databricks. /n • Build Bronze, Silver, and Gold data models using a Lakehouse (Medallion) architecture. /n • Optimize Spark jobs for performance, scalability, and cost. /n • Work with structured and semi-structured datasets from multiple sources. /n • Develop reusable, production-ready data engineering frameworks. /n • Own data quality, monitoring, and pipeline reliability as measurable outcomes.



/n • Collaborate closely with Product, Analytics, and Business teams. /n • Participate in code reviews and production support. /n • Navigate our current stack: Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake (Medallion architecture), BigQuery, Airbyte, and Power BI. /n /n What are we looking for? /n • If you are a content creator yourself or have worked closely in the social media space, we like you already :) /n • 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, with a strong software engineering foundation. /n • Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization). /n • Hands-on Python programming skills. /n • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark / PySpark / Databricks. /n • Solid knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling. /n • Experience with ETL/ELT and incremental data processing. /n • Experience with the AWS or GCP cloud ecosystem. /n • Strong communication skills — you can translate between data engineering and business/analytics stakeholders. /n /n Valuable to Have /n • Airbyte, Kafka, or CDC concepts. /n • Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg. /n • Airflow or Databricks Workflows. /n • Docker / Kubernetes. /n • Performance tuning and partitioning strategies. /n /n Perks and Benefits /n We are committed to providing the best environment for you to thrive in.
