The company specialises in lab-grown diamonds and contemporary diamond jewellery, serving international markets through its diamond and jewellery business. Its operations involve diamond inventory, market pricing, merchandising, sales, and data-driven pricing decisions.

Role Overview:

The Price Data Analyst will analyse diamond market pricing trends across Rapaport, RapNet, IDEX, and competitor listings to support data-driven pricing decisions across inventory. The role will determine appropriate pricing for individual stones and diamond categories based on the 4Cs, market trends, inventory movement, and profitability. The position will also provide pricing and inventory insights through analysis, reports, and dashboards while working closely with Buying, Sales, and Merchandising teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Track diamond market pricing trends across Rapaport, RapNet, IDEX, and competitor listings.
- Analyse the 4Cs — Carat, Colour, Clarity, and Cut — along with market data to determine appropriate pricing for individual stones and diamond categories.




- Benchmark competitor pricing and recommend pricing that balances sell-through, inventory movement, and profitability.
- Build pricing models and conduct margin, discount, and markup analysis.
- Monitor inventory ageing, sell-through rates, and pricing performance to identify slow-moving inventory and opportunities for price adjustments.
- Build and maintain Excel Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, reports, and dashboards to track and present pricing and inventory insights.
- Analyse market and inventory data to support data-driven pricing recommendations and improve inventory movement while protecting margins.
- Work closely with Buying, Sales, and Merchandising teams to support pricing decisions based on market trends and business requirements.
- Prepare and present relevant pricing and inventory insights to leadership.

Requirements:
- Experience in Data analysis; diamond pricing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IGI/GCAL grading standards and the 4Cs. Price Data Analyst
- Solid SQL skills for data extraction, analysis and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, and advanced data analysis.
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Good stats fundamentals (regression, elasticity)
- Strong communication skills
