Role Overview

We are looking for a Manual Data AI Tester to validate AI/GenAI solutions developed for data and analytics projects. The role will focus on functional testing, data validation, and evaluating AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, and consistency.





Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual, functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing of AI/data solutions.
- Create test scenarios and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Validate data, transformations, and outputs using SQL.
- Evaluate AI/GenAI outputs for accuracy, relevance, consistency, grounding, and detection of hallucinations.
- Perform prompt and response testing across different scenarios and edge cases.
- Validate data pipelines, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear evidence and reproduction steps.
- Work with developers, data engineers, and business teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Maintain test cases, execution results, and testing documentation.
- Perform usability and user acceptance validation of AI-powered solutions.

Required Skills

- 4–10 years of experience in manual QA/testing, preferably in data or analytics projects.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and QA processes.
- Experience with Jira/Xray or similar tools.
- Good understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI concepts.
- Understanding of AI testing concepts such as hallucinations, prompt testing, response validation, and grounding.

Good to Have

- Experience testing AI/GenAI, RAG, chatbots, or AI-powered data solutions.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, Databricks, or modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT and data warehousing.
- Basic Python or API testing knowledge.
