Role Description The Data & Agentic AI Engineer — ARQFLO role is a full-time, on-site position based in Indianapolis, IN. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying agentic AI systems and data-driven solutions that power client platforms and products.

Daily responsibilities include building and optimizing data pipelines, integrating LLMs and neural network models into production systems, and implementing robust pattern recognition and NLP capabilities. The engineer will collaborate closely with product, venture, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI architectures, improve model performance, and ensure reliability and observability in production environments. The role also involves code reviews, documentation,



experimentation with recent AI frameworks and tools, and contributing to best practices for secure and ethical AI adoption.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and modern software engineering practices.
- Applied experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition for real-world AI solutions, including model training, evaluation, and optimization.
- Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), particularly with LLMs, text processing pipelines, and conversational or agentic AI systems.
- Proficiency with programming languages commonly used in AI (such as Python), and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or similar).
- Experience building data pipelines and working with structured and unstructured data, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and integration with cloud or distributed systems.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and align AI solutions with business goals.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in startup, venture, or consulting environments, and familiarity with responsible AI practices, is highly beneficial.
