Are you an experienced Cyber Insurance / Cyber Liability Underwriting professional with strong knowledge of cyber risk assessment, insurance coverage, policy structuring and pricing? We are looking for an analytical and commercially driven professional to support the Cyber Insurance portfolio and contribute to building a sustainable and profitable book of business.

Responsibilities

- Assess clients’ cybersecurity posture and evaluate their overall cyber risk exposure.
- Underwrite Cyber Liability risks in line with established underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.
- Evaluate cyber risks including ransomware, data breaches, social engineering fraud, cyber extortion, business interruption and other emerging cyber threats.
- Analyse cybersecurity controls, risk mitigation measures and the potential financial impact of cyber incidents.
- Structure appropriate insurance coverage, policy terms, limits, deductibles and conditions based on the assessed risk.
- Support pricing and premium decisions based on risk analysis, market trends and underwriting guidelines.
- Review emerging cyber threats, regulatory developments and evolving cyber insurance products and coverage offered by competitors.
- Collaborate with brokers, clients, internal underwriting teams and other stakeholders to understand risk exposures and business requirements.
- Maintain strong understanding of cyber insurance market trends and emerging risk developments.




- Support the development and management of a sustainable Cyber Insurance portfolio.

Requirements

- 4–6 years of relevant experience in Cyber Insurance, Cyber Liability Underwriting, Cyber Risk Underwriting or related insurance underwriting functions.
- Prior hands-on experience in assessing and underwriting cyber risks will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of cyber risks including ransomware, data breaches, social engineering fraud, cyber extortion and related exposures.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of cyber insurance coverage, policy structure, pricing, limits, deductibles and risk assessment.
- Degree, diploma or certification in Cybersecurity will be an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in Insurance & Risk Management will be preferred.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities with the ability to evaluate complex cyber exposures.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders.
