What you will work on:

- You will manage a team of credit managers and sanction credit cases within your delegated authority,

overseeing credit appraisal and monitoring for the assigned region.
- You will take an execution-driven approach to underwriting, with a strong focus on building a clean and optimum loan portfolio.
- Your role involves underwriting and preparing credit proposals based on local market requirements, ensuring credit policies and processes are implemented across branches.
- You will analyse portfolio health, credit risk, and asset quality, and provide timely credit feedback and guidance to the Sales/Business team.
- You will build, coach, and lead an effective regional credit team while keeping attrition levels in check.




- You should be comfortable conducting independent field visits and making sanction decisions under time pressure.

The ideal candidate

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with knowledge of affordable LAP credit policies and scorecards.
- Proficiency in digital KYC, fraud control, and MIS tools, along with LOS & LMS software.
- Working knowledge of local property markets, title documents, and municipal/registration practices.
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil, English, and Hindi (Telugu/Kannada a bonus).
- Should be capable of thinking out of the box and adapting to a rapid-moving, digitally driven environment.
