About the Role

We are looking for a Credit Audit professional to review credit processes, loan documentation, customer accounts, and compliance requirements. The candidate will be responsible for identifying credit risks, discrepancies, and process gaps while ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct audits of credit/loan files and related documentation.
- Verify customer KYC, sanction documents, agreements, and supporting documents.
- Review credit appraisal, sanction, disbursement, and repayment processes.
- Check compliance with internal credit policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Identify discrepancies, documentation gaps, and potential credit risks.
- Prepare detailed audit observations and reports.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, and business teams for clarification and closure of audit findings.
- Track corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
- Perform sample-based verification and transaction testing.
- Maintain proper audit working papers and documentation.




- Assist in periodic and special credit audits as required.

Candidate Profile
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Credit Audit, Credit Operations, Loan Audit, Internal Audit, or a similar role.
- Experience in NBFC, Banking, Financial Services, or lending organizations will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of credit processes, loan documentation, KYC, and compliance.
- Robust analytical and documentation skills.
- Good command of MS Excel.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and assess process/control gaps.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
