Role & responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain cost sheets for products and manufacturing processes.
- Perform product costing based on raw material, labour, power, overheads, and other manufacturing costs.
- Prepare and analyse batch-wise costing based on actual material consumption and production output.
- Compare standard/estimated cost with actual cost and identify cost variances.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports related to production, costing, consumption, inventory, and profitability.
- Conduct inventory reconciliation between ERP/system stock, book stock, and physical inventory.
- Analyse inventory differences, material consumption, wastage, production loss, and yield variances.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, and Accounts teams for accurate costing and reconciliation.
- Monitor raw material price fluctuations and assess their impact on product costing.
- Provide costing and MIS analysis to management for decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile Good knowledge of MS Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.

Experience with SAP.

Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.

Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
