Job Purpose &

- Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Costing

- Prepare and maintain standard costs for raw materials, labour, and overheads.

- Analyse manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

- Monitor production variances and investigate material, labour, and overhead deviations.

- Collaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.

- Support new product costing, feasibility studies, and pricing decisions.

Cost Accounting &

- Analysis

- Perform monthly cost closing activities and prepare cost reports.

- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget vs. actual performance.

- Monitor inventory valuation, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods costing.

- Ensure accurate allocation of manufacturing overheads and absorption rates.

- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.

- Support internal and external audits related to costing and inventory.

SAP Management

- Manage and maintain costing-related master data in SAP.

- Execute and monitor SAP costing runs,



standard cost updates, and variance analysis.

- Generate and analyse SAP reports for inventory, production, and cost management.

- Work closely with IT and business teams to improve SAP costing processes and reporting.

- Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

- CMA (ICWA) / CMA-Inter or equivalent.

- 7-10 years of experience in costing and finance within a manufacturing setting.

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory accounting, and manufacturing processes.

- Hands-on experience with SAP (preferably SAP CO, FI, MM, and PP modules).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
