We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cook & Guest House Caretaker to manage and maintain a guest house occupied by 3 residents in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling daily cooking duties and taking full responsibility for the upkeep of the house (excluding washroom cleaning).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook healthy, home-style meals for 3 residents (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning of all rooms and common areas.
- Laundry and ironing as needed.
- Grocery and vegetable shopping or coordinating with delivery services.
- Maintain kitchen inventory and manage stock of supplies.
- Ensure the guest house is clean, organized,
and well-maintained at all times.
- Serve food and clean up after meals.
- Handle basic maintenance or coordinate with external help when required.
- Maintain a respectful and courteous attitude with the residents.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a cook or caretaker in a household or guest house setup.
- Ability to cook Indian meals (knowledge of other cuisines is a plus).
- Physically fit and able to manage housekeeping tasks.
- Honest, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Willingness to work full time and reside nearby (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
