Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai for a Controls Panels Estimation professional. The role involves reviewing project specifications and drawings, preparing accurate cost estimates for VFD, PLC, MCC, and other control panels, and selecting appropriate components and materials. The individual will work closely with engineering and sales teams to develop quotations, validate technical feasibility, and optimize panel designs for performance and cost.

Day-to-day tasks include creating bill of materials,



coordinating with vendors for pricing, updating estimation databases, and supporting bids and proposals for industrial automation projects. The role also requires maintaining documentation, adhering to company standards and client requirements, and collaborating with project and procurement teams to ensure smooth execution from estimation to delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of control panels, including VFD, PLC, MCC, and related electrical and automation components.
- Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems and projects in sectors such as metals, pharma, F&B;, chemicals, or similar process industries.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Ability to prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of materials, and quotations with attention to accuracy and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, drives, and DCS concepts; exposure to Siemens automation platforms is an advantage.
- Good analytical and numerical skills, with competence in using spreadsheet and basic estimation tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with engineering, sales, procurement, and vendors.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment.
