Role Description The Computer Vision Engineer internship is an on-site role based in Hyderabad. Interns will assist in designing, developing, and testing computer vision algorithms that power AI-enabled aerospace and defense systems.
Day-to-day responsibilities include working with image and video data, implementing pattern recognition and object detection models, and collaborating with robotics and software teams to integrate vision pipelines into real-time systems. The role also involves experimenting with new approaches, documenting findings, and supporting system performance evaluation under field-relevant conditions. Interns will work closely with senior engineers,
gaining hands-on experience in turning research concepts into deployable solutions.
Qualifications
- Robust foundation in Computer Science and Data Science, including algorithms, data structures, and statistical concepts.
- Experience or coursework in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, with ability to implement and evaluate vision models.
- Exposure to Robotics and embedded or real-time systems, with interest in integrating perception with control and navigation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C++, and familiarity with libraries like OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics, or a related engineering or science discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate technical ideas clearly.
- Interest in aerospace, defense technologies, and edge AI; prior project or internship experience in these areas is a plus.
