Role Description

This is a full-time, in office Computer Engineer role based in Mumbai.

The Computer

Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing computer systems and networks that support inventory management, production workflows, and business operations. Daily tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing system updates, and ensuring data integrity and security across office and production environments. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement software solutions,



integrate new tools, and support ERP or business applications.

The Computer

Engineer will also contribute to cybersecurity measures, system documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

Manage and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and network connectivity.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and internet-related issues.

Perform regular preventive maintenance of computers and networking equipment.

Install and update operating systems, drivers, software, and security updates.

Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity or downtime issues.

Maintain IT equipment, asset records, and documentation.

Configure user accounts, permissions, shared folders, and network resources.

Perform data backup and assist with data recovery when required.

Ensure antivirus, firewall, and other basic IT security measures are properly maintained.

Provide technical support and guidance to employees/users.

Coordinate with internet service providers and external IT vendors when required.

Diagnose and replace faulty computer/network hardware and components.

Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, and IT-related issues.

Ensure all IT systems and equipment remain operational and secure.
