Guiding Koi is a psychologist-led mental wellness brand based in Delhi/NCR, building products and communities (journaling circle, workshops, Koi Circle WhatsApp community) that help people build genuine, sustainable mental wellness habits.

The Role

We're looking for someone to own Guiding Koi's community presence end-to-end, not just posting, but genuinely building a space where people interested in mental health show up, engage, and become warm leads for our paid offerings (journaling circle, workshops, events). This is a relationship-building role as much as a content role.

Note on ramp-up: Given the breadth of this role, the first 4-6 weeks will focus on consolidating and growing the core community channels (WhatsApp, Reddit, Quora, Facebook) and driving journaling circle registrations. Event/workshop coordination support will be phased in once the community foundation is steady.

Responsibilities

Community Management (ongoing, daily)

1. Own and grow the Koi Circle WhatsApp community
- daily light-touch prompts, check-ins, and replies

- Build and manage an Instagram broadcast channel , growing it toward launch-readiness
- Build genuine presence on Reddit - join and actively participate in relevant subreddits, with value-first engagement (not self-promotional)
- Join and engage in relevant Facebook groups
- Represent Guiding Koi as a community-led, psychologist-credible mental health brand across all platforms: consistent tone, genuine engagement, not corporate-sounding

Warm Lead Generation

1. Route community engagement toward Guiding Koi's paid offerings (journaling circle, workshops, events)

2. Track and report weekly on registrations/sign-ups generated through community channels

Events & Workshops Support

1. Assist in planning and coordinating workshops and events (e.g., the Journal & Sip series)
2. Support the journaling circle's growth specifically, promotion across WhatsApp/social, tracking sign-ups, and supporting launch programmes

Content

1. Daily social media stories promoting the WhatsApp community (Koi Circle), Instagram broadcast channel, and upcoming events/workshops
2. 2 Reels per week promoting the journaling circle, workshops, and events

What We're Looking For

1. 1-2 years of experience in community management, social media, or content: startup, D2C, or wellness-space background is a plus.
2. Naturally warm, empathetic communicator, comfortable holding space in sensitive conversations without needing to "solve" or advise on them
3. Comfortable being genuinely active (not just posting) across Reddit, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram
4. Robust written communication; can adapt tone across platforms casual on community spaces, warm and genuine on stories/Reels
5. Organised and self-directed, able to independently track and report on engagement, registrations, and follower growth
6. Genuine interest in mental health as a space; prior experience with mental-health or wellness content is a plus, not a requirement
7. Has completed a Master's degree, or is in the final year of one; we are not considering candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's

Nice to Have

1. Experience helping run events or workshops, even at a student-org or campus level
2. Familiarity with tools like Google Meet, Meta Business Suite, or WhatsApp Business
