- Set up and operate CNC/VMC milling machines for production of precision components as per drawings, work instructions, and production requirements.

- Carry out job setting, fixture loading, workpiece alignment, tool loading, tool offset setting, and datum setting before starting production.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and basic GD&T; requirements to ensure components are machined as specified.

- Load and run approved CNC programs, monitor machining operations, and make necessary tool offset corrections within the defined process limits.

- Perform first-piece and in-process inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other specified measuring instruments.

- Monitor tool condition, tool wear, cutting parameters, coolant condition, and machine performance to maintain consistent production and component quality.

- Identify and correct common machining issues such as dimensional variation, burrs, tool wear, vibration, poor surface finish, and incorrect offsets.





- Support recent component trials and development activities by carrying out machine setup, trial machining, first-off production, and process feedback to the Engineering team.

- Achieve planned production quantity, cycle time, quality, and machine utilization while minimizing setup time, rejection, rework, and machine downtime.

- Maintain proper 5S, machine housekeeping, tool control, safety practices, and production records, and contribute to continuous improvement of machining processes and productivity.
