Role Description This is an in office CMA Articleship internship role based in Raipur. The articleship trainee will assist with cost audits, preparation and maintenance of cost records, and support routine cost accounting activities under the guidance of senior professionals. Daily responsibilities include helping with GST and income tax compliance work, assisting in accounting and bookkeeping tasks,



and supporting management accounting and financial reporting assignments.

The trainee will also help in preparing working papers, documentation, and reports for business advisory engagements, while learning to interpret relevant laws, regulations, and standards. The role provides hands-on exposure to practical cost accounting, statutory compliance, and client servicing in a structured professional environment.

Qualifications

- CMA student or candidate registered with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, actively pursuing CMA qualification.
- Foundational knowledge of cost accounting, management accounting, and basic financial accounting principles.
- Ability to work with accounting and office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word, accounting packages or ERP systems).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence and documentation.
- Willingness to learn, follow professional standards, and maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Capability to work on-site in Raipur, collaborate with team members, and manage assigned tasks within timelines.
- Prior internship or exposure to accounting, taxation, or compliance work is an advantage but not mandatory.
