Manage and monitor chemical processes to ensure secure, efficient, and consistent production in compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control chemical manufacturing processes
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Optimize process parameters to improve yield and efficiency
- Coordinate with Production, QC, Maintenance, and EHS departments
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and minimize downtime
- Maintain batch records, production logs, and process documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations
- Support scale-up, trials, and continuous process improvement
- Assist in audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
- 2-4 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or process industry
- Experience in batch or continuous process plants preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of chemical processes and unit operations
- Knowledge of process safety, MSDS, and EHS practices
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work in shifts, if required
Other Requirements
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or similar quality systems will be an added advantage
- Hands-on experience with reactors and process equipment preferred
