Role Description The Chartered Accountant will work on-site in Dehradun in a full-time capacity, supporting clients across assurance, audit, taxation, corporate law, and advisory engagements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, conducting statutory and internal audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing direct and indirect tax matters, including tax planning, filings, and representation, as well as supporting corporate structuring, incorporation, and other company law-related processes.

Accountant will analyze financial data to provide consulting and financial advisory insights, support cross-border transactions under foreign exchange regulations, and collaborate with senior team members to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

- Professional chartered accountancy qualification (CA) with valid membership in the relevant professional body.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and audit procedures; experience in statutory and internal audits.
- Practical experience in direct and indirect taxation, including tax planning, compliance, and advisory for businesses.
- Familiarity with corporate law, company incorporation processes, corporate structuring, and regulatory filings.
- Ability to analyze financial data, perform due diligence, and provide consulting and financial advisory recommendations.
- Understanding of foreign exchange regulations and cross-border transaction advisory is an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting and audit software, MS Excel, and other office productivity tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in teams and interact with clients professionally.
- Prior experience in a chartered accountancy firm or professional services environment is preferred.
