Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting & finance, including end-to-end monthly book closing and team leadership

Work Hours: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM | Aligned with US Time Zone

Reports To: CEO with guidance from our India CPA Firm

About Artelye

- Artelye is a US-based countertop manufacturing and installation company with two US locations. Our Ahmedabad office handles accounting and finance support for the US business.
- We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to take ownership of accounting operations, lead our small accounting team, and manage the day-to-day accounting function.

About the Role

- This is not just a data-entry or transaction-processing role. We are looking for someone with a sharp analytical mind who can go beyond balancing the books someone who can read the numbers, understand what they are telling us about the business, ask the right questions, identify when something does not make sense, and speak up rather than simply recording it and moving on.
- The role requires judgment, evaluation, ownership and business understanding, not just processing transactions.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)





Experience with closing monthly books for a company from start to finish

Experience leading and managing a small team

Strong analytical and evaluation skills with sound professional judgment

Ability to read and interpret financial numbers, ask “why,” and provide meaningful opinions and insights

Comfortable handling cash flow and bank reconciliation work

Highly organized, detail-oriented and accurate to the penny

Ability to work US business hours from our Ahmedabad office

Experience with Work-in-Progress (WIP) and job costing

Construction or manufacturing accounting background is preferred

Sage accounting software experience is a plus, but not required
