The group now manufactures approximately 550 tons per day of high RCT corrugated paper used for packaging boxes, cartons, and paper bags. Its product portfolio includes Kraft Paper, Test Liner, Fluting Medium Paper, and Specialty Papers in a wide GSM range with various burst factors and shades across three production lines, making it one of the larger paper mills in the country.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant based at the Paswara Papers Limited facility in Meerut, U.P.

The Chartered

Accountant will oversee statutory and internal financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and manage audits and liaison with external auditors and regulatory authorities. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and finalizing books of accounts, preparing financial statements and MIS reports, monitoring cost controls and budgets, and supporting management with financial analysis and decision-making.



The role also involves overseeing payables and receivables, supporting treasury and cash-flow management, and improving internal controls and accounting processes within a manufacturing workplace.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid membership in the relevant professional body.
- Robust knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and statutory compliance (including direct and indirect taxation).
- Experience in audit coordination, internal controls, and risk management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Ability to interpret financial data, prepare clear reports, and present insights to management for decision support.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; familiarity with local languages is an advantage.
- Prior experience in paper, packaging, or related industries is beneficial, as is knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
