Key Responsibilities

1. Project Accounting & Financial Management

Manage accounting and financial reporting for multiple real estate development projects. Monitor project-wise revenue, costs, receivables, payables and profitability. Ensure accurate accounting of land acquisition, construction costs, development expenses, finance costs and project overheads.

Track project budgets versus actual expenditure and highlight variances.

Review project profitability, cost-to-complete and expected margins.

Ensure appropriate allocation of common/project-related expenses.

1. Financial Planning & MIS

Prepare monthly/quarterly MIS reports for management. Develop project-wise P&L;, balance sheet, cash-flow and profitability reports. Prepare management dashboards covering revenue, collections, expenditure, margins and cash position.

Provide financial insights to management for project and business decisions.

- Monitor key financial KPIs and identify areas of financial risk or leakage.

1. Cash Flow & Working Capital

Prepare and monitor project-wise cash-flow forecasts. Track customer collections against project requirements. Monitor vendor, contractor and statutory payments.

Manage working capital requirements and optimize cash utilization.

- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for project funding and documentation.

1. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other applicable statutory compliances. Review GST implications on real estate transactions, construction activities and project-related expenses. Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and payments.

Coordinate for tax assessments, notices and audits.

- Work with tax consultants and external advisors wherever required.

1. Audit & Financial Controls

Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits. Ensure timely closure of audit requirements and observations. Establish and monitor financial controls across projects.





Review accounting processes to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.

1. Revenue & Receivables Management

Monitor project sales accounting and customer receivables. Review customer outstanding reports and collection ageing. Coordinate with Sales/CRM and Collections teams for reconciliation and follow-up.

Ensure proper accounting of advances, cancellations, refunds and customer adjustments.

- Monitor revenue recognition as per applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

1. Vendor & Contractor Accounting

Review vendor/contractor bills, advances, deductions and reconciliations. Ensure appropriate accounting of retention money, security deposits and project advances. Monitor contractor payments against work progress and approved budgets.

Coordinate with Projects and Procurement teams for financial validation of major expenditures.

1. Compliance & Real Estate Regulations

Ensure finance-related compliance with applicable RERA and other real estate regulatory requirements. Coordinate with Legal and Project teams for financial information required for regulatory filings.

- Maintain proper project-level documentation and financial records.

1. Budgeting & Business Support

Assist management in annual budgeting and business planning. Prepare financial feasibility and profitability analysis for current projects. Evaluate project costs, expected revenues, margins and funding requirements.

Support management in investment, funding and project-level financial decisions.
