Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Reports To: Board of Directors / Managing Committee

Location: Sitapura

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for the overall management, administration, financial performance, business development, and day-to-day operations of the Cooperative Society. The CEO will implement the decisions of the Board/Managing Committee and ensure that the Society operates efficiently, transparently, and in compliance with applicable cooperative laws, rules, regulations, and its registered bye-laws.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall operations and administration of the Cooperative Society.
- Implement policies, resolutions, and strategic decisions approved by the Board/Managing Committee.
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve sustainable growth.
- Manage financial performance, budgets, cash flows, and operating expenses.
- Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts, records, registers, and statutory documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable cooperative laws, regulations, government requirements, and Society bye-laws.
- Coordinate with auditors, government departments, regulators, banks, members, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor loans, deposits, investments, recoveries, or other financial activities where applicable.
- Strengthen internal controls, risk management, fraud prevention, and operational procedures.
- Improve member services and maintain strong relationships with members.
- Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and development of employees.
- Prepare management reports and provide regular operational and financial updates to the Board.
- Identify opportunities for new products, services, partnerships, and revenue growth.
- Ensure transparency, accountability, ethical conduct, and good governance throughout the organization.




- Represent the Cooperative Society before relevant authorities and external stakeholders as authorized.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
- MBA, CA, CMA, CS, or other relevant qualified qualification would be an advantage.
- Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed under the applicable cooperative law and the Society's bye-laws.

Experience
- 5-6 YEARS of relevant experience in cooperative societies, banking, financial services, NBFCs, or related organizations.
- Previous senior-management experience is preferred.
- Experience in financial management, administration, compliance, member services, and organizational leadership.
- Experience working with cooperative authorities, auditors, or government departments would be desirable.

Compensation Salary and benefits will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and the Society's approved remuneration policy, subject to applicable regulations.
