1. Job Purpose
The Cameraman & Video Editor is responsible for planning, shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality video and visual content for Chanakya Business School’s marketing, branding, social media, academic, and promotional activities.
1. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Camera & Video Production
- Plan and execute video shoots as per the content requirements.
- Handle cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, tripods, and other production equipment.
- Record high-quality videos for social media, advertisements, events, interviews, testimonials, and academic content.
- Ensure proper framing, composition, lighting, focus, and audio quality.
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Content teams for shoot requirements.
- Maintain and safely handle all company-owned camera and production equipment.
- Report any equipment damage, loss, or technical issue immediately to the concerned authority.
- Maintain proper storage and backup of recorded footage.
B. Video Editing
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, advertisements, and other platforms.
- Create Reels, promotional videos, interviews, testimonials, event videos, and educational content.
- Add captions, subtitles, transitions, graphics, music, sound effects, and other required elements.
- Perform colour correction, audio enhancement, and basic visual corrections.
- Resize and optimize videos according to different social media platform requirements.
- Ensure videos are delivered within the assigned deadlines.
C. Content & Creative Coordination
- Work closely with the Marketing, Content, Design, and Social Media teams.
- Understand campaign objectives and convert them into engaging visual content.
- Suggest suitable video concepts, shots, angles, and editing styles.
- Participate in brainstorming and content planning sessions.
- Ensure all final content follows the organization’s branding guidelines.
1. Daily Responsibilities
- Review assigned video requirements and shoot schedules.
- Capture required footage and photographs.
- Edit assigned videos according to the content calendar.
- Coordinate with the concerned team for approvals and revisions.
- Maintain organized folders for raw footage, project files, and final videos.
- Complete assigned tasks within the agreed timeline.
- Submit daily/weekly work updates to the reporting manager.
1. Required Skills
- Good knowledge of professional cameras and video equipment.
- Strong video shooting and framing skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of lighting and audio recording.
- Understanding of social media video formats and trends.
- Good creative and visual storytelling skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/Diploma/Certification in Visual Media, Film Making, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in videography and video editing is preferred.
- Candidates with a strong portfolio may also be considered based on skills and practical experience.

- Quality of video production.
- Quality and creativity of edited content.
- Timely completion of assigned videos.
- Number of videos completed as per the content plan.
- Accuracy in following brand guidelines.
- Quality of audio, lighting, framing, and editing.
- Ability to meet campaign and promotional requirements.
- Proper maintenance and handling of company equipment.
- Responsiveness to urgent content requirements.
- Coordination with Marketing and Creative teams.
1. Accountability
The employee will be responsible for:
- Proper handling and protected custody of company-provided equipment.
- Timely completion of assigned shooting and editing tasks.
- Maintaining confidentiality of unreleased content and company information.
- Maintaining organized backups of important footage and project files.
- Following company policies, working hours, reporting procedures, and professional standards.
1. Working Requirements
- Flexibility to attend events, seminars, shoots, campaigns, and other organizational activities as required.
- Willingness to travel to different branches or locations for assigned shoots.
- Ability to work according to production schedules and urgent marketing requirements when necessary.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
