We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer with strong hands-on experience in C/C++, Unix/Linux, multithreading, memory management and performance optimization to work on a Market Data Platform.

The ideal candidate should have experience developing high-performance / low-latency systems and be comfortable troubleshooting and optimizing complex native applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain C/C++ components for the Market Data Platform.
- Develop new features and enhancements as part of the product roadmap.
- Optimize applications for:
- CPU utilization
- Memory efficiency
- Latency
- Throughput
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using profiling and debugging tools.
- Perform code optimization and refactoring while maintaining existing functionality.
- Troubleshoot complex native-code issues and production problems.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design and architecture discussions.
- Work closely with QA, support and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills
- 6–7 years of hands-on C/C++ development experience
- Strong knowledge of C and C++

- Experience with Linux system internals and shell scripting
- Familiarity with Make/CMake
- Experience with Git/version control
- Knowledge of logs, diagnostics and troubleshooting in large-scale systems
- Working knowledge of SQL

Good to Have
- Knowledge of Sybase / RDBMS
- Core Java / JNI
- Python
- Experience with trading systems, Market Data, OMS or exchange connectivity
- Knowledge of real-time/event-driven architectures
- Experience in financial services or other high-availability environments

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in low-latency C++ development, market data systems, trading platforms, real-time systems or performance-critical applications will be preferred.
