About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Risk &
- Controls Analyst to join the Nuveen Technology &
- Operations (NTO) Risk and Controls team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the execution and delivery of multiple risk programs in alignment with regulatory and enterprise requirements. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities The candidate will support the NTO Risk and Controls team across a broad range of risk programs including Cyber Security, Application Risk (ITRC), End-of-Life/End-of-Support (EOL/EOS) management, Incident Management, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, and Vendor Management.
In the area of Application Risk and Cyber Security, the role involves partnering closely with Application Owners, Application Contacts, COS, and various cross-functional teams (Cyber &
- CTO-Office) across the enterprise to help close Breaks identified through the ITRC tool and drive remediation of security vulnerabilities through the CyberOne Compliance Dashboard.
The candidate will play an active role in supporting the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) program by coordinating annual Global BCP testing across Facilities, Critical Applications, and Suppliers, working alongside Process Owners to ensure 100% resiliency and compliance. A robust understanding of business continuity principles and their importance to organizational resilience is essential.
With respect to EOL/EOS management, the candidate will independently drive and track the EOL/EOS program across NTO, ensuring all applications and servers are proactively migrated to secure, enterprise-supported, and upgraded operating system platforms in a timely manner.
The role also requires fostering a continuous and consistent risk management loop between US and India colleagues, promoting a team-oriented and collaborative working culture.

This is a global role with high visibility to NTO senior leadership and across various levels of the organization.
