Our client, a rapid-growing B2B startup , is looking for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with business leaders and turning financial insights into business decisions. In this role, you will co-own the P&L; of a Business Unit alongside the BU Head—tracking performance, managing costs, improving profitability and supporting growth. This is an opportunity to take ownership and directly influence business outcomes.

Location: Bangalore

Work mode: On-site, 5 days a week

Experience: 4–5 years of core Business Finance experience

Qualification: Chartered Accountant, qualified between 2021 and 2023

Travel: 20–30% within India

What you’ll do

- Partner with the BU Head to co-own the BU P&L; and drive financial performance.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with business and FP&A; teams.
- Analyse revenue, costs, margins and variances to identify business drivers and recommend actions.
- Evaluate growth opportunities, investments and strategic decisions with business teams.




- Identify opportunities to optimise costs, improve efficiency and strengthen profitability.
- Build financial reports and dashboards that give leadership clear, actionable insights.
- Work across functions to resolve financial and operational challenges.
- Strengthen financial processes, reporting and controls across the BU.
- Travel to understand business operations and engage with vendors and customers.

What we’re looking for

- 4–5 years of core Business Finance experience , with strong exposure to P&L; management, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Strong business partnering skills and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly.
- A practical approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to ask questions and recommend solutions.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bangalore and travel within India.
