About the Role:

Foresight Law Offices is looking for a dynamic, confident and commercially driven Business Development Manager – DPDP & Data Privacy to help build and expand our growing DPDP practice.

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, can communicate the subject with clarity and confidence, and is equally comfortable meeting clients, developing relationships, identifying opportunities and converting them into business.

This is a client-facing, business development-led role with a strong focus on DPDP and Data Privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute business development strategies specifically for the DPDP & Data Privacy practice.
- Identify and build relationships with CXOs, General Counsels, Legal Heads, Compliance Heads, CIOs, CISOs, HR Heads and other relevant decision-makers.
- Proactively reach out to prospective clients and create opportunities for DPDP advisory and compliance mandates.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, introductory discussions and business pitches to understand client requirements and present Foresight's DPDP capabilities.
- Have the ability to discuss DPDP requirements intelligently and credibly with prospective clients and identify areas where legal support may be required.
- Convert client conversations and identified requirements into qualified business opportunities and mandates.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of DPDP and Data Privacy opportunities.
- Develop proposals, pitch decks, capability presentations and other business development material in coordination with the legal team.
- Coordinate with lawyers to ensure that client requirements are translated into appropriate DPDP advisory, compliance and implementation offerings.
- Build long-term relationships with clients and identify cross-selling and repeat engagement opportunities.
- Represent Foresight Law Offices at industry events, conferences, webinars,



networking forums and corporate meetings.
- Support the firm's DPDP thought leadership, webinars, workshops, campaigns and outreach initiatives to generate visibility and leads.
- Track business development activities, leads, meetings, proposals and conversions and maintain regular reporting to the leadership team.

What We Are Looking For:

- 4+ years of experience in business development, client acquisition, legal business development, data privacy, technology law or a related field.
- Good working knowledge of the DPDP Act, 2023 and a genuine interest in data privacy and technology law.
- Strong ability to understand and explain DPDP concepts in simple, business-friendly language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence to independently make calls, approach senior professionals, set up meetings and represent the firm's DPDP practice.
- Strong networking, relationship-building and client-conversion skills.
- Commercially astute, target-oriented and proactive.
- Ability to work closely with lawyers and senior leadership while independently driving business development.
- A robust professional presence and the ability to interact confidently with senior corporate decision-makers.
