About the Business A Mumbai-based B2B platform building a global, verified network of independent freight forwarding companies. Freight forwarders around the world join our network to access vetted international partners, grow their trade-lane business, and connect at our global and regional industry events ,including our flagship annual conference that brings together hundreds of forwarders from 100+ countries. Our clients are business owners and decision-makers at logistics/freight forwarding companies worldwide, so this is a relationship-driven, B2B sales workplace rather than retail or mass-market selling.

About the Role

We're looking for an Business Development Managerr who can independently close international membership deals ,engaging freight forwarding company owners overseas over calls, email, and video, understanding their business needs,



and helping them see the value of joining our network. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role where you'll own your pipeline and your targets directly.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete inside sales cycle for international prospects — outreach, discovery calls, pitching, negotiation, and closing
- Take the time to understand each prospect's business — their trade lanes, challenges, and goals — so the pitch feels relevant and consultative
- Handle outbound and inbound leads across time zones (US/Europe/Middle East/Asia)
- Negotiate membership terms within approved guidelines and close deals independently
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date — pipeline stages, next steps, and forecasts
- Coordinate with the marketing/events team on lead lists and pre-conference outreach
- Work towards monthly/quarterly closing targets
