Job Summary

As a Business Development Intern , you will support the business development and sales team in identifying potential clients, generating leads, conducting market research, communicating with prospects, and maintaining client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in Business Development, Sales, and IT Services .

Key Responsibilities

- Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities.
- Generate leads through online research, LinkedIn, email, calling, and other channels.
- Understand client requirements and identify potential business opportunities.
- Assist the Business Development team in preparing proposals and presentations.
- Communicate with prospective clients through email, phone calls, and online meetings.
- Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication with prospects.
- Maintain and update lead and client information in CRM or internal databases.
- Support the team in preparing quotations, proposals, and other sales-related documents.
- Assist in scheduling meetings between potential clients and the sales/technical team.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication with prospects.
- Track lead status, follow-ups, and business development activities.
- Achieve assigned daily/weekly/monthly activity and lead-generation targets.

Requirements

- Any Graduate / MBA (Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related field) is preferred.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Basic understanding of sales and business development.
- Strong research and lead-generation skills.
- Confident in communicating with clients and prospects.

What you'll do

- Own delivery for client-facing web, mobile, AI, cloud or digital transformation work based on the role.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, QA and client stakeholders through discovery, build, launch and support.
- Write transparent documentation, communicate risks early and keep delivery quality high.
- Contribute to reusable engineering practices, reviews and mentoring inside the WebSenor team.
