Business Development Executive – Inside Sales

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to manage and nurture leads received through our digital channels, including social media, website, WhatsApp, and email.

The role involves understanding customer requirements, responding to enquiries, maintaining regular follow-ups, developing customer relationships, and handing over qualified customers to the senior sales team.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond promptly to customer enquiries received through social media, website, WhatsApp, and email.
- Connect with customers through phone calls, WhatsApp, chat, and video calls as required.
- Understand customer requirements and provide basic information about products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with leads and maintain customer engagement.
- Identify customers with strong purchase intent and hand over qualified leads to the sales team.
- Maintain accurate customer information and interaction details in the CRM.




- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from lead generation to sales.

Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, retail sales, customer service, customer relationship management, telecalling, or lead management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valuable customer-handling and interpersonal skills.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable communicating through WhatsApp, phone calls, social media, and email.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems and digital communication tools.
- Candidates from the retail, jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, luxury retail, e-commerce, or customer service industry are preferred.
