Business Analyst | 2-5 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst with 2-5 years of experience to work closely with business, technology, development, and testing teams on enterprise applications and digital transformation projects.

The candidate will be responsible for requirements gathering, business analysis, functional documentation, stakeholder management, Agile/SDLC activities, testing support, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and QA teams.
- Create BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in SDLC activities from requirement gathering through implementation.
- Support Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Coordinate with development and testing teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect tracking, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
- Analyze production issues, perform impact analysis, and support root cause investigations.
- Manage requirement changes and ensure alignment between business requirements and delivered solutions.
- Prepare functional documentation, process maps, and other project-related documentation.

Required Skills
- 25 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / IT Business Analyst.




- Strong experience in Requirement Gathering & Analysis.
- Experience in User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, BRD/FRD, Functional Specifications, and Process Flows.
- Good understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and SDLC methodologies.
- Experience working with Business, Development, QA, and Product teams.
- Hands-on exposure to SIT, UAT, defect management, and production support.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools.

API & Integration Understanding
- Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
- Awareness of REST APIs, HTTP request/response, payloads, JSON/XML, and authentication concepts.
- Ability to understand end-to-end system interactions, data flows, and integration points.
- Experience working with technical teams to define and validate integration requirements.
- Understanding of integration testing, data mapping, and field-level mapping.

Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience working on CRM, Order Management, Billing, ERP, or enterprise applications.
- Understanding of business processes such as Lead-to-Order, Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), Order-to-Cash (O2C), or Service Delivery.
- Telecom domain experience will be an added advantage.
- Candidates from other domains with strong IT Business Analysis and integration experience are also welcome.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
