About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Body Shop Manager to manage the complete operations of an automobile body shop, including car accident repair, denting, painting, body repair, estimation, quality control, customer coordination, and team management.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automotive body repair and painting operations, preferably from reputed passenger-car dealerships such as Tata Motors, Honda, Škoda, Renault, Nissan, or Kia.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Body Shop / Accident Repair Centre.
- Supervise complete denting, painting, body repair, polishing, and vehicle restoration activities.
- Inspect damaged vehicles and coordinate the repair estimation and job card process.
- Ensure proper diagnosis and identification of body damage before starting repairs.
- Monitor the complete repair process from vehicle reception to final delivery.
- Ensure high-quality car painting, denting, panel replacement, and finishing work.
- Monitor paint booth, denting tools, equipment, and body-shop machinery.
- Ensure proper colour matching, paint mixing, surface preparation, and finishing.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Insurance Team, Workshop Team, Customers, and Insurance Surveyors.
- Handle insurance-related accident repair processes and documentation.
- Monitor job allocation, technician productivity,



repair turnaround time (TAT), and pending vehicles.
- Conduct final quality inspection before vehicle delivery.
- Ensure vehicles are delivered within the committed timeline and quality standards.
- Manage and motivate Denting Technicians, Painters, Helpers, and other Body Shop staff.
- Maintain workshop discipline, safety standards, housekeeping, and 5S practices.
- Monitor material and paint consumption and control unnecessary wastage.
- Track body shop performance, productivity, rework, customer complaints, and overall profitability.
- Resolve technical and customer-related issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company and OEM body-shop processes and standards.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Automobile Body Repair & Painting.
- Hands-on knowledge of Denting, Painting, Panel Replacement, Welding, and Restoration.
- Knowledge of Automotive Paints, Paint Booth Operations, Colour Matching, and Finishing.
- Experience in Accident Repair / Insurance Claim Process.
- Strong team handling and manpower management skills.
- Good knowledge of Body Shop workflow and repair processes.
- Ability to monitor TAT, productivity, quality, and rework.




- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to coordinate with Insurance Surveyors and OEM teams.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Candidate Background Candidates with relevant Body Shop experience from reputed automobile dealerships/OEM workshops such as:
- Tata Motors
- Honda
- Škoda
- Renault
- Nissan
- Kia

Experience in other reputed OEM-authorized passenger-car dealerships / accident repair centres can also be considered if the candidate has strong hands-on Body Shop experience.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / Any relevant qualification in Automobile / Mechanical / Body Repair preferred.
- Relevant hands-on automotive body shop experience will also be considered.

Compensation CTC: ₹3.4 – ₹4.5 LPA, based on experience and current CTC.
