About the Role

GKC Consultants is looking for a 4D BIM Consultant to join our team and work on BIM modelling, coordination, construction planning, and 4D BIM simulations for infrastructure and construction projects.

The role will involve developing and coordinating 3D BIM models, integrating models with project schedules, and creating 4D construction simulations using tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Bentley SYNCHRO 4D.

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in BIM and construction technology, good understanding of construction workflows, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.

Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage 3D BIM models for construction and infrastructure projects.
- Work on BIM modelling using Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM software.
- Perform model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Prepare and integrate project schedules with 3D models for 4D BIM simulations.
- Develop construction sequencing and 4D simulations using Bentley SYNCHRO 4D.
- Support BIM coordination across multiple disciplines.




- Review design and construction information and identify modelling/coordination issues.
- Assist in preparing BIM deliverables, reports, simulations, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, planners, project managers, and other project stakeholders.
- Support BIM implementation and digital construction workflows.
- Visit project sites when required to understand construction progress and workflows.

Qualifications & Skills
- B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in BIM, construction, infrastructure, or related projects.
- Basic to good knowledge of BIM and 3D modelling concepts.
- Hands-on knowledge of Autodesk Revit and/or Navisworks.
- Knowledge of Bentley SYNCHRO 4D or other 4D BIM software will be an advantage.
- Understanding of construction sequencing, planning, and project workflows.
- Knowledge of VDC / Digital Construction concepts is an advantage.
- Construction detailing and drawing interpretation skills will be an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn current BIM and digital construction technologies.
- Willingness to work at project sites when required.
