The Role
As a Storage Support Specialist at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance.



You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities :

• Administer and support IBM i (AS/400) systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Monitor storage utilization and perform capacity planning and storage allocation.
• Perform backup, recovery, and restore operations using BRMS and enterprise backup solutions.
• Install and apply PTFs, perform system upgrades, and execute IPL activities.
• Monitor system health, analyze performance and implement performance tuning recommendations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, storage, operating system and application-related issues.
• Manage user profiles, system security and access permissions.
• Support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments and participate in DR testing.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive
