What you’ll do

• Engineering Analysis & Design Validation: Conduct CFD and FEA studies to validate and improve the performance, reliability,



and durability of centrifugal pumps and related mining equipment. Daily tasks include hydraulic and structural analysis of pumps, baseplates, hydrocyclones, valves, and support structures. Success means delivering validated designs that enhance product performance and reliability.

• Simulation & Technical Activities: Perform detailed CFD analyses such as flow performance, cavitation, NPSH, pressure drop, erosion, and wear studies. Conduct static/agile structural, fatigue, vibration, rotor dynamics, linear/non-linear FEA, and elastic-plastic analyses. Validate designs against engineering standards.

• Product & Industry Knowledge: Apply deep understanding of pump hydraulics, vibration behavior, nozzle loads, and support structures during design reviews and product development. Contribute to value engineering initiatives using FMEA and VAVE methodologies.
