Role Description The Bancassurance Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for driving life insurance business through bank branch networks. This role involves managing relationships with bank partners, coaching branch staff on HDFC Life products, and ensuring effective implementation of sales processes and campaigns.

Manager will monitor daily sales performance, track key metrics, and take corrective actions to meet and exceed assigned targets.





Responsibilities include conducting regular customer meetings, supporting bank teams in lead generation and closures, and ensuring high-quality customer service and adherence to compliance and regulatory guidelines. The role also requires coordinating with internal stakeholders, preparing periodic reports, and contributing to local market strategies to grow business sustainably.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of Finance and Insurance concepts, including life insurance products and basic financial planning.
- Proven experience in Sales, especially in bancassurance, financial services, or related domains.
- Strong Team Management capabilities, including training, motivating, and guiding bank staff to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Additional beneficial skills: relationship management with channel partners, data analysis and reporting, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Preferred qualifications: bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; prior experience in life insurance or banking; familiarity with local Lucknow market is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in bank branches, meet performance targets, and adhere to regulatory and company standards.
