Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot, Spring ecosystem)

- Architect and build robust REST APIs for internal and external integrations

- Handle end-to-end ownership of services development, deployment, monitoring, and optimization

- Work extensively with MySQL and MongoDB, ensuring data consistency, performance, and scalability

- Implement and manage event-driven systems using Kafka / ActiveMQ

- Debug and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure system stability

- Deploy and manage services on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)

- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using Elastic Stack (ELK)

- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams for seamless delivery

- Contribute to system design decisions, including architecture, scalability, and performance improvements

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices





Preferred candidate profile

- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in backend development

- Strong expertise in Java (Java 8/11/17) and Spring Boot

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems

- Experience with MySQL and MongoDB (query optimization, indexing, schema design)

- Hands-on experience with Kafka or ActiveMQ

- Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure

- Strong debugging skills with experience handling live production systems

- Familiarity with Elastic Stack (ELK) for logging and monitoring

- Working knowledge of Node.js / Python for scripting or auxiliary services

- Understanding of API security, authentication, and performance tuning

- Robust problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
