About the Role /n We are looking for a talented and hands-on Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our engineering team. The candidate should have strong expertise in Python, Go, and PostgreSQL, with a good understanding of building scalable backend systems and APIs. /n The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can understand complex business requirements, design practical technical solutions, and independently build production-ready systems. /n We also expect engineers to be comfortable using AI-powered development tools to improve coding productivity, debugging, testing, documentation, and overall engineering efficiency. /n Exposure to AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI is a plus but not mandatory. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Go.

- Build reliable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for enterprise applications.

/n

- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, queries, schemas, indexes, and data models.

/n

- Understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

/n

- Participate in system design and architecture discussions.

/n

- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services that can scale with business requirements.

/n

- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.

/n

- Debug complex technical problems and perform root-cause analysis.

/n

- Optimize application performance, database queries, and backend services.

/n

- Work closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams.

/n

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

/n

- Use AI coding tools effectively for code generation, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and development assistance.

- Continuously evaluate and adopt modern engineering tools and practices.

/n /n Required Qualifications /n /n





- 3+ years of professional software development experience.

/n

- Minimum qualification: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field. B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualifications are also welcome.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python.

/n

- Good hands-on experience with Go (Golang).

/n

- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design, SQL queries, indexing, optimization, and transactions.

/n

- Experience building REST APIs and backend services.

/n

- Good understanding of software architecture, design principles, data structures, and algorithms.

/n

- Understanding of scalable and distributed backend systems.

/n

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

/n

- Positive knowledge of Git and modern software development practices.

/n

- Strong problem-solving ability and a structured approach to technical challenges.

/n

- Ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, or similar tools effectively during software development.

/n /n AI-Assisted Development /n The candidate should be comfortable working in an AI-assisted software development environment. /n We expect the candidate to be able to: /n /n

- Use AI tools to generate and improve code while maintaining ownership of the final implementation.

- Use AI for debugging and identifying potential issues.

- Generate unit and integration test cases using AI assistance.

/n

- Use AI for code reviews, refactoring, and documentation.

- Understand how to write effective prompts for software development tasks.

- Validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.

- Learn new frameworks, libraries, and technologies using AI-assisted research and development.
