Job Synopsis

We are looking for a Backend Developer Intern to join our engineering team and work on scalable B2B eCommerce applications. The intern will gain hands-on experience with modern backend technologies and work closely with experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop backend features using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate REST APIs.
- Work with PostgreSQL and gain exposure to Elasticsearch / Solr.
- Learn and work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Write unit tests and maintain clean,



reliable code.
- Debug issues and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Effectively use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor for development and learning.

Required Skills

- Strong fundamentals in Java and OOP.
- Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and REST APIs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Willingness to learn Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Good to Have

- Academic or personal projects using Java / Spring Boot.
- Exposure to databases, search technologies, or cloud-native tools.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.
