About Flywl
Flywl is building a better way for enterprises to buy and sell software through the cloud.
Our platform brings AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Marketplace into one unified experience, helping enterprises make smarter software purchasing decisions, maximise cloud commitments, accelerate procurement, and gain greater visibility into cloud software spend.
We operate at the intersection of cloud marketplaces, enterprise software, procurement, FinOps, and B2B SaaS-and we’re looking for a writer who understands this world and can make complex ideas feel clear, relevant, and compelling.
The Role
We’re looking for a full-time B2B Cloud & Product Copywriter based in India who can become deeply embedded in Flywl’s product, customers, and go-to-market strategy.
This is a hands-on, strategic writing role-not a traditional content marketing position focused primarily on blog production. You’ll work across product messaging, website copy, campaigns, webinars, executive communications, social, and go-to-market initiatives, often moving quickly as priorities evolve.
We need someone who can understand a technical or commercial concept, ask the right questions, identify what actually matters to the audience, and turn it into sharp, differentiated messaging.
You’ll work closely with marketing, product, sales, partnerships, and leadership to shape how Flywl communicates new products, features, campaigns, events, and ideas to the market.
One of your first major priorities will be helping develop website messaging and copy for new Flywl products and product capabilities.
What You’ll Own
Website & Product Messaging
- Develop website copy for new products, capabilities, landing pages, and launches.
- Translate technical product functionality into clear business value.
- Work with product and GTM teams to understand new capabilities and determine how they should be positioned.
- Develop messaging for different audiences including CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, procurement leaders, FinOps teams, cloud teams, ISVs, and SaaS revenue leaders.
- Maintain consistency in Flywl’s voice, positioning, terminology, and messaging across channels.
Campaigns & Demand Generation
- Write email campaigns and nurture sequences for enterprise buyers, ISVs, cloud partners, and other audiences.
- Develop webinar titles, abstracts, landing pages, promotional emails, speaker messaging, and follow-up campaigns.
- Support event campaigns, executive programs, product announcements, and partner initiatives.
- Write strong calls to action that move an audience from interest to conversation.
Thought Leadership & Content
- Turn conversations with Flywl executives and subject-matter experts into compelling content.
- Develop articles, executive POVs, customer stories, one-pagers, sales collateral, and other strategic content.
- Take complicated topics-cloud commitments, marketplace transactions, FinOps, procurement, software spend, private offers, and multi-cloud strategy-and make them understandable without oversimplifying them.
Social & Executive Content
- Write LinkedIn and social content for Flywl.
- Help translate product launches, company news, events, customer insights, and industry trends into concise social storytelling.
- Support executive thought leadership while maintaining each leader’s individual voice.
PR & Communications
- Experience writing press releases, company announcements, funding news, product launches, or media materials is a strong plus.
What We’re Looking For
You should have professional B2B technology writing experience and be comfortable operating in a technical, fast-moving environment.
Most importantly, you understand-or can demonstrate significant experience with-topics such as:
- AWS Marketplace
- Microsoft Azure Marketplace
- Google Cloud Marketplace
- Cloud marketplace transactions
- Enterprise cloud commitments
- Cloud procurement
- FinOps / cloud cost management
- Enterprise software and SaaS
- Private offers and marketplace purchasing
- B2B SaaS sales and go-to-market motions
You don’t need to be an engineer. You do need enough technical and commercial fluency to interview someone in product, cloud, sales, or FinOps and turn that conversation into messaging that an enterprise executive will trust.
The Person Who Will Thrive Here
Flywl is a startup. Priorities move quickly, products evolve, and sometimes the brief starts as a conversation rather than a perfectly organised document.
You should be someone who:
- Is comfortable with ambiguity and takes ownership.
- Can move quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Asks smart questions rather than simply writing what’s handed to you.
- Can challenge unclear or generic messaging and make it stronger.
- Understands the difference between technically accurate copy and copy that actually resonates.
- Can shift naturally between an executive webpage, a product launch, an email campaign, a webinar description,
and a LinkedIn post.
- Writes in clear, confident language rather than generic corporate jargon.
- Can collaborate effectively across teams and time zones.
- Is comfortable receiving direct feedback and iterating quickly.
- Has strong attention to detail and excellent written English.
Required Experience
- 4-7+ years of professional copywriting, content marketing, product marketing, or B2B technology writing experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating B2B technology or SaaS work.
- Experience writing website and product marketing copy.
- Experience developing email and campaign copy.
- Experience translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, cloud marketplaces, FinOps, procurement, enterprise software, or adjacent categories.
- Experience working directly with executives, product teams, sales teams, or technical subject-matterexperts.
- Ability to work full-time and consistently overlap with U.S. business hours.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud ecosystems.
- Experience writing specifically about cloud marketplaces.
- FinOps or cloud economics knowledge.
- Product marketing experience.
- Experience writing for CFO, CIO, CTO, procurement, or enterprise IT audiences.
- Press release / PR writing experience.
- Experience supporting webinars and executive events.
- Experience working at an early-stage B2B SaaS company.
Portfolio Required
Please include a portfolio with your application.
We are especially interested in seeing examples of:
- B2B SaaS or cloud website copy
- Product pages or product launches
- Email campaigns
- Executive or thought-leadership content
- Webinar or event campaigns
- Social / LinkedIn copy
- Cloud, FinOps, procurement, or marketplace content
Press releases or media announcements are a plus.
For each sample, please briefly explain what you personally wrote, who the target audience was, and the objective of the piece.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first few months, you should be able to sit in on a product or GTM conversation, understand what Flywl is building and why it matters, and turn that conversation into polished messaging with minimal hand-holding.
You’ll help establish a consistent Flywl voice across our website, campaigns, product launches, webinars, events, sales materials, and social channels-and help us explain a rapidly evolving category in a way enterprise buyers immediately understand.
If you understand cloud technology, love making complicated ideas simple, and want to help define the voice of an early-stage company building something new in the cloud marketplace ecosystem, we’d like to hear from you.
