Role Description The Avaloq Developer will design, implement, and maintain solutions on the Avaloq banking platform to support core banking, wealth management, and related financial services processes. This contract role involves configuring Avaloq modules, developing custom scripts and workflows, integrating third-party systems, and resolving technical issues in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.

The individual will participate in requirement analysis, technical design, coding, unit testing, and documentation, ensuring solutions meet performance, security,



and compliance standards. The position is hybrid, based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility to support project needs and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

- Experience with Avaloq development, including customization, parameterization, scripting, and module configuration.
- Strong skills in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java or similar), SQL/database design, and integration technologies (APIs, web services).
- Knowledge of core banking and wealth management processes, financial products, and regulatory requirements relevant to Avaloq implementations.
- Proficiency in software development lifecycle practices, including requirement analysis, technical design, coding, unit testing, and defect resolution.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in hybrid or distributed environments, with strong communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience with major banking platforms, enterprise solutions, or digital transformation projects is beneficial.
- Exposure to cloud computing environments, automation testing practices, and IT consulting or managed services is an advantage.
