Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Engineer – Electrical Panel Design with hands-on experience in electrical drafting and LT panel design. The candidate must have practical experience designing PCC, MCC, and APFC panels and preparing detailed electrical drawings for manufacturing, assembly, and installation.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare, develop, and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD 2D.
- Design and draft LT panels, including PCC, MCC, and APFC panels.
- Prepare panel GA (General Arrangement) drawings, internal component layouts, and fabrication drawings.
- Develop electrical schematics, power circuit diagrams, control wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams (SLD).
- Prepare detailed wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable schedules, and interconnection drawings.
- Prepare electrical BOMs (Bill of Materials), component specifications, and material requirements.
- Select and incorporate electrical components such as ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, relays, meters, and capacitor banks as per design requirements.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, project, and electrical assembly teams to ensure accurate execution of panel designs.
- Review and revise drawings based on project requirements, design changes, and manufacturing feedback.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable electrical standards, project specifications, and company requirements.




- Provide technical support during panel manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and testing.

Required Skills

- Mandatory: Hands-on working experience with AutoCAD 2D for electrical drawings and drafting.
- Mandatory: Practical experience in LT panel design, specifically PCC, MCC, and APFC panels.
- Strong knowledge of electrical panel layouts, GA drawings, power circuit diagrams, control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Good understanding of LT electrical systems, panel components, component selection, and panel sizing.
- Ability to prepare electrical BOMs, wiring schedules, cable schedules, and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical standards, panel manufacturing processes, assembly, and testing.
- Ability to read, interpret, modify, and revise electrical drawings as per project requirements.
- Good coordination, communication, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

- Minimum 1 to 2 Years of experience is required.
- Experience in electrical panel manufacturing or industrial electrical projects.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Experience coordinating with production and project engineering teams for panel execution.
