Associate, Product and Technology
Job Summary
Antarang runs on a stack of low-code platforms and a data pipeline that turns program activity into decisions. We are looking for an Associate who can work confidently across both building and configuring content on tools like Glific, Moodle and form builders, and working with the data those tools generate in Salesforce and dbt. This is a hands-on role for someone who is genuinely technical but not necessarily a software engineer.
You will be the person who translates what a program team needs into working logic on a platform, writes the SQL to check whether it behaved as expected, and catches the problem before a facilitator or student does. If you enjoy figuring out how systems work, are precise about detail, and want your work to show up in the career outcomes of young people, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Product build and configuration: Build and maintain content and flows on drag-and-drop platforms Glific chatbot flows, Moodle courses, form and survey tools. This is not copy-paste work: flows carry branching logic, conditional routing, variables and validations, and you will own getting that logic right.
- Requirement ownership: Work with program and operations teams to understand what they need, convert it into clear documentation, and own it through build, testing and go-live.
- Data and SQL: Query and analyse data in Salesforce, write and maintain SQL queries, and follow data through to the dbt pipeline. Investigate discrepancies and answer data questions from internal stakeholders.
- QA and validation: Test products against defined use cases before every release functional QA on the platforms, and validation checks on the data pipeline to confirm records are flowing, transforming and reconciling correctly. Log bugs clearly and drive them to resolution.
- Data ops: Manage system and data requests from internal stakeholders,
and build repeatable processes so recurring requests stop being one-offs.
- Documentation and support: Maintain documentation of how products and data flows are set up, and support users when something breaks.
Profile Requisites
- Work experience in a fast-paced setup.
- Working knowledge of SQL able to write joins, aggregations and filters and reason about a dataset independently. This is a must-have.
- Comfort with logic-based, low-code tools (chatbot builders, LMS platforms, form builders, workflow automation). Direct experience with Glific or Moodle is a plus, not a requirement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a structured, detail-oriented working style.
- Genuine tech-savviness: you pick up new tools quickly and enjoy poking at how they work.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to work across teams that are not technical.
- Preferred degrees: B.C.A, B.B.A (IT), B.Sc. IT, Engineering, or similar but applicants with strong demonstrated tech skills from any background are encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to CRM/data management (Salesforce or similar) is a value-add.
- Familiarity with dbt or analytics engineering concepts is a value-add we will train you on this.
- Ability to read and write Hindi, Marathi or Urdu is an added advantage.
- Passionate about working with low-income communities and young adults.
Whats in it for you
- A young, vibrant work environment where Care forms the bedrock of our culture
- Working with a Manager who will help you learn and develop and give autonomy wherever possible
- Roles and responsibilities that will help you hone transferable skills relevant to the social impact space and beyond
- Last but not the least . . . the chance to form some robust bonds and connections!
