Key Responsibilities And Duties
Onboarding and BGV
This role ensures a seamless and compliant new hire experience, spanning from background verification through onboarding, making certain that every new team member transitions into the organization with confidence and clarity.
- Manage end-to-end background verification processes including employment history, education, criminal records, and identity checks, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational and legal standards
- Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of all verification checks
- Maintain detailed records of verification outcomes and escalate discrepancies to relevant stakeholders promptly
- Oversee the complete onboarding journey from pre-joining communication, documentation, and orientation through to system access coordination
- Facilitate the Day-1 onboarding session to welcome new associates, introducing them to TIAA's legacy, business, and embedding our values and behaviours from the very start of their journey
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and well-supported transition into the organization
- Maintain onboarding trackers and continuously gather feedback to refine and strengthen the new hire experience
Learning Specialist This role drives a culture of continuous development by partnering with business leaders to design strategic learning solutions and developing engaging, measurable learning experiences across the organization.
- Partner with business leaders to conduct learning needs assessments and translate organizational challenges into actionable development roadmaps
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex content into learner-friendly formats across e-learning and blended learning programs
- Design and develop impactful learning solutions using Instructional Design Tools
- Analyze learning data to measure program impact and drive continuous improvement
- Drive end-to-end program management of learning interventions, encompassing operational aspects such as attendance tracking, participant management, dashboard reporting, and feedback management to ensure seamless execution and data-driven insights
- Manage the Talent, Learning and Culture budget by raising requisitions, tracking budget utilization, clearing vendor invoices, and reporting accruals and spend to the finance team to ensure financial accountability and compliance
