What you will do:
Based in India, the Associate Manager, Integrated Modeling Solutions will develop, test, enhance, and deliver components of Prudential's proprietary PyVal liability engine and Eureka! integrated modeling application.
This hands-on role brings together modern software development with actuarial, finance, investment, and risk expertise to support valuation, forecasting, capital management, asset liability management, and strategic decision-making across multiple businesses and jurisdictions.
What you can expect:
- Develop, configure, test, and maintain Python-based financial and actuarial modeling capabilities within PyVal and Eureka!, translating business requirements into reliable, scalable, and reusable solutions.
- Implement new products, assumptions, methodologies, scenarios, reporting needs, and forecasting capabilities while applying version control, peer review, modular design, coding standards, and disciplined deployment practices.
- Perform unit, integration, regression, sensitivity, and reconciliation testing; investigate model results, data issues, and defects; and drive issues through resolution.
- Maintain clear documentation of model logic, assumptions, data flows, controls, test results, limitations, and change history in line with model governance and risk standards.
- Partner across Actuarial, Finance, Investments, Treasury, Risk, Technology, and business teams, contributing to Agile delivery, reusable standards, automation, and continuous improvement.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science,
Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in actuarial modeling, financial modeling, quantitative analysis, risk, software development, or a related discipline.
- Solid hands-on Python proficiency, including development of well-structured, testable, and maintainable code.
- Experience developing, testing, validating, or operating financial, actuarial, risk, or projection models.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated effectiveness across global, cross-functional teams.
What will set you apart?
- Progress toward an Associate or Fellow credential from a recognized actuarial body, or toward CFA, FRM, or an equivalent quantitative credential.
- Experience in insurance or reinsurance, including life insurance, annuities, retirement, or institutional products.
- Knowledge of valuation, financial planning and analysis, capital modeling, liquidity risk, economic capital, or asset liability management.
- Exposure to US GAAP, US statutory reporting, Bermuda EBS or BSCR, or other insurance accounting and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with Git, cloud computing, automated testing, continuous integration, data pipelines, or Agile delivery.
- Experience with Prophet, MoSes, or comparable projection systems.
