About the Role
GeoFindr is looking for an exceptional Vice President, Land Acquisition to lead land origination and execution across Bengaluru and South India.
This is a senior, hands on role for someone who understands land deeply, has strong relationships in the market and can independently take an opportunity from the first conversation with a landowner through negotiation, aggregation, diligence and closure.
We are looking for someone who has actually done deals on the ground and has the judgement,
network and execution ability to build a serious land acquisition platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead land sourcing and acquisition across Bengaluru and other priority markets
* Build and maintain direct relationships with landowners, intermediaries, local networks, developers and institutional buyers
* Identify large land parcels as well as fragmented holdings that can be aggregated into meaningful opportunities
* Lead negotiations on pricing, commercial terms, timelines and transaction structure
* Manage complex aggregation involving multiple owners, survey numbers and family holdings
* Evaluate opportunities based on location, access, ownership, pricing, development potential, market demand and transaction complexity
* Work closely with legal, survey and documentation teams through diligence and closure
* Maintain a strong pipeline of active opportunities and drive each transaction towards the next stage
