ASSOCIATE ARCHITECTExperience: 6–10 Years

About the RoleRhizome is looking for a energetic and experienced Associate Architect with 6–10 years of professional experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Hospitality, Housing and Commercial projects, with the ability to take projects from design development through detailed documentation and execution.

The candidate will work closely with the Principal Architect and project teams, while independently managing projects, coordinating consultants and mentoring junior architects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage architectural projects from concept design to execution.
- Develop design concepts, presentations, design development and detailed drawings.
- Prepare and review working drawings, construction drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape and other consultants.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and site teams.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables and internal team coordination.
- Review drawings and work produced by junior architects.
- Guide, mentor and manage a team of architects and designers.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations and design discussions.
- Conduct site visits and resolve design and execution-related issues.
- Ensure projects maintain the required standards of design quality, documentation and execution.

Preferred ExperienceCandidates should have demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
- Hospitality: Hotels,



resorts, restaurants, leisure projects
- Housing: Residential developments, apartments, high-rise housing
- Commercial: Offices, retail, mixed-use and commercial developments

Experience handling projects through multiple stages—from concept to working drawings and site execution—will be highly valued. Skills Required

- Strong architectural design and planning skills
- Excellent knowledge of working drawings and detailing
- Good understanding of construction and materials
- Strong consultant coordination skills
- Project and team management abilities
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and/or other relevant architectural software
- Good knowledge of MS Office and presentation tools
