Senior Consultant – Healthcare Data Architecture & Digital Health Consulting (Germany / EU)

The Opportunity

As a Senior Consultant within EY's Digital Health Excellence Center (DHEC), you will advise healthcare providers, public sector organizations, health systems, and digital health stakeholders on designing contemporary healthcare data ecosystems that enable interoperability, advanced analytics, and digital transformation initiatives across Germany and the European Union. You will bridge business, clinical, and technology domains to help clients realize value from healthcare data while ensuring compliance with European regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Healthcare Data Strategy & Consulting





• Advise healthcare organizations on enterprise data strategies, target-state architectures, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to translate business and clinical requirements into scalable data solutions.

• Develop data governance, data quality, and information management frameworks aligned with healthcare industry best practices.

• Support business case development and roadmap creation for digital health initiatives.

• Data Architecture & Interoperability

• Design and implement healthcare data architectures integrating clinical, operational, and administrative data sources.

• Develop logical and physical data models for structured and unstructured healthcare datasets.

• Define interoperability approaches leveraging standards such as HL7 FHIR and related healthcare frameworks.
